Happy December! It was a busy week for Eleanor and Henry – they started out with Eleanor’s first soccer practice – aptly named “Little Kickers”. I asked Eleanor how it went, and she told me that she sat on a ball. Hopefully they progress to kicking the ball at some point :) On Thursday night Eleanor and Henry got dressed up in their Santa pajamas in preparation for a visit on Friday. Despite lots of discussions about sitting on Santa’s lap for a photo, and how much fun it would be, Eleanor burst into tears as we put her on Santa’s lap. I’m pretty sure Grandma has almost the exact same picture featuring Santa and Auntie Susan. Uncle B and Breanne came over for a visit on Saturday while Mom was out – giving Dad some much needed help. Eleanor had so much fun playing with them outside that they each got a goodbye fist bump AND a goodbye hug. On Sunday, we put up the Christmas tree. Eleanor and Henry were only mildly impressed, but as usual Zapa was very excited.

Loved all these….In the Santa picture, only Monkey seems to be mildly happy. Even Santa looks distressed!
