Mr. Sub for all!

Eleanor and Henry both had their first taste of Mr. Sub this week.  Recently Mom has been joining Dad for his weekly Mr. Sub, and on Saturday She decided to share some of her sub with the kiddos.  Eleanor wasn’t a big fan and didn’t want any additional bites, but Henry really took a liking to the bread and dug in.  Another notable first this week, Henry learned the sign for “please”, and successfully used it several times to get puffs and melts.

Eleanor really got into her Bitty Baby twins (Gray and Hobbes) on Sunday, and made them a full lunch.  It was quite a sight to see her frying up a pancake at her kitchen, holding a spatula in one hand, and in the other hand holding Monkey’s hand and a spatula for Monkey.  Hobbes didn’t get to sit at the table much though, as Monkey got the seat opposite Gray.  Eleanor was very excited for her and Gray to wear their matching pajamas for the first time Sunday night.  She even put up with Dad taking lots of pictures.  Matching pajamas has been a popular thing with Eleanor lately, several times this week picking out pajamas that matched Henry’s.   Saturday night Henry went to bed before Eleanor came upstairs, so she asked me what pajamas Henry was wearing so that she could put on ones that matched.   Earlier in the week, Mom was telling Eleanor that they were going to soccer class the next day, and Eleanor replied “I will be a little bit not listening, and then I will run away and go play on the blue things, and then I will dilly-dally” :)  So much for mental preparation…
