Eleanor and Henry celebrated St. Patrick’s day with our annual trip to see the river dyeing. Henry slept the whole time last year, but this year he was very interested in all the activity. Unfortunately it was much colder than last year, so we had to be bundled up in winter coats.
On Friday, Eleanor had a St. Patrick’s Day party at preschool – the daily email from the school said that they got green milk and cookies, but Eleanor reported that they didn’t get cookies because “My friend didn’t listen”. When pressed further, she said it was “All of her friends”, but she stayed silent when we asked her if she listened. Can’t wait to get the other side of the story from the teacher and find out the full story.
Henry has been eating a lot of yogurt this week, which has led to a few very cute pictures, and several after-mealtime play sessions in various states of undress. It also prompted a competition with Eleanor, after Mom remarked “Henry, you have the biggest yogurt face I’ve ever seen”. Eleanor then began rubbing yogurt on her face with her spoon and then asked, “Mama, do I have a biggest yogurt face?”. He also got a haircut this week, which he handled very well, mostly just staring straight ahead.

Very fun…. I love the interactions between the two of them, especially when they are looking at eachother. (o:
