Six Months!

Eleanor celebrated her half birthday by throwing the 2011 Super Bowl Chili Cookoff – her first party.  She did an excellent job hosting, although she did have to go to bed before the guests left.  It was great fun meeting lots of new people all at once.

This week also brought a huge snowstorm, dropping 20+ inches of snow in one day.  We got all bundled up and took some fun pictures in the middle of the snow covered road.  Fun!  We didn’t build a snowman – maybe next year.  We also focused on improving our sitting this week, and almost have it mastered.  Most of the time, Eleanor can stay seated without falling over and even use both hands for playing.  I thought for sure we would have some new teeth to show off this week, but alas they have not appeared.  Maybe next week.
