Green River!

Eleanor went to see the annual Chicago River Dyeing in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day.  It was a bit cold, so she didn’t get out of her cozy car seat, but we did get a few good pictures.  If you look closely in the background, you can see that the cause of the green river was a spilled shamrock shake :)  Eleanor has been enjoying some additional solid foods this week, including wheat puffs and freeze-dried yogurt puffs.  We are still working on the delivery of the puffs from the tray to the mouth.  Eleanor’s hands are usually wet and the puffs tend to stick to her hand rather than drop into her mouth.   She is really enjoying her teeth now that the top ones have come in a little bit further – chewing, grinding and biting have become favorite activities.
