9 months in – signs of spring

Eleanor turned 9 months this week – and got her first tastes of spring.  With the weather finally turning warm, she was out on the town, visiting some local parks, trying out the swings, and taking in the neighborhood flowers.   She discovered grass for the first time – and it received only a passing interest.   Eleanor also celebrated her first Cinco de Mayo with lunch at a local Mexican restaurant (unfortunately they didn’t have pureed spinach, pears and peas in taco form on the menu).  Eleanor’s main focus during the week was working on perfecting her standing up – along with developing a surprising loud raspberry bubble that I’m pretty sure Aunt Lary taught her.  On saturday she was tormented by a tasty looking carrot cupcake just out of reach, and on Sunday she celebrated Mother’s Day with some flowers and quality mommy time.
