Happy Easter!

Henry celebrated his first Easter this week with his first trip to Grandma and Grandpa’s house.  He was a champ during the car rides, sleeping pretty much the whole time both ways.  His naptimes, however, were not as good.  The only solid naps that he took all weekend were on Grandma’s lap.  He had lots of fun meeting more family members and being oohed and ahhed over by adults and kiddos alike.   All that excitement still didn’t product our first giggle – but he sure seemed awfully close a few times!

Eleanor definitely got a kick out of the easter fun – she gave quite a giggle upon seeing the trail of plastic eggs leading to her basket, and definitely liked all of stuffed chicks and bunnies.  She didn’t quite get the idea of the easter egg hunt, but did enjoy helping to dye the eggs.  She had lots of fun playing hide and seek with Jack, and Mackenzie taught her all about makeup and tea parties.  Ben showed her some tricks with the train set and encouraged her to say some new words.  Eleanor is starting to use more words together, and add syllables to some of her existing half-words.  She now says “El No” for herself, rather than just “El”, and has a number of two syllable words in her vocabulary now.
