After a few weeks of travel, we took a week off and relaxed at home. Eleanor and Henry got back into their sleep routines (mnostly…). Eleanor has been saying a lot more phrases lately, my favorite new one this week was when she said “Bye Bye Dada” to me – very sweet. She has also been doing some singing – she sang along to an entire rendition of “Old MacDonald” on YouTube – we will have to catch her on video doing it. She knows almost all the words. Speaking of singing, Eleanor recreated her entire bedtime routing this week while putting Monkey down for a nap. She changed the diaper, turned on the white noise, turned on the heater, said goodnight to all the animal stickers on the wall, rocked Monkey in her arms while singing our bedtime song, and then put Monkey down in Henry’s crip with Henry’s sleepsack on. She just loves to do everything that Mom and Dad do!
Henry has been getting very active with his hands. He now routinely grabs items both handing above him on the playmat, and also just sitting beside him. He also performed his first hand to hand transfer this week – very impressive. Henry also went to his first music class this week – and Eleanor spent an hour in “sibling care” without anyone that she knew. Mom didn’t hear any screaming and the teacher didn’t report any trouble upon pickup :)

I find it truly amazing how pronounced Henry’s development has been the last 30 days. Very impressive, and a helpful big sister must be part of the equation. Keep it up youngin’s
