Five Months Old!

Henry turned Five Months Old this week – so we took our customary family photo.  He has been losing his hair at quite a rapid pace, and now there are only a few wispy strands left from the mo-hawk that he had when he was born.  Henry has been working on sitting up, he can stay seated on the floor with his hands out in front of him for a few moments before capsizing to one side or the other.  No luck with rolling over yet, but he is getting quite good at the jumparoo – he has a bit of a Russian Folk Dance move going – shifting back and forth between his feet.  He had his first dinner out at a restaurant, while Dad was out of town, Mom and Lala hit up the Italian place down the street for a 4:30 early bird special.  Needless to say, there was no one else there to be disturbed by the kids antics.

Eleanor had her first full meal in her booster seat instead of the high chair – it is still not her favorite, but we have to move fast because Henry is ready to start trying some real food.  Eleanor had a number of other firsts this week, including putting the diaper on Monkey unassisted, putting on her own shirt and skirt without any help, and taking off her doll Zozo’s dress to get her ready for a bath without any help.  She also made it all the way through the ABC song, but unfortunately she won’t sing for the camera or when she is on Skype :(
