Eleanor and Henry had a fun Memorial Day weekend with lots of visits from Lala and a fun afternoon with Uncle B.
There are a few pictures this week that require further explanation:
1) Henry handing from the bar: This is at Whole Foods, and Henry was so proud of himself for finding a bar that he could reach all by himself and then hang off of. This repeated for 5 minutes.
2) Eleanor’s cozy corner: Poor Eleanor was having a bad dream Tuesday night, and kept waking up screaming that a spider or similar bug was coming to get her. We found her in the morning with this setup in the corner, she had taken down her monitor so that is was right next to her, pulled in the nightlight, and surrounded herself with friends and the doll crib. Poor thing.
3) Color organizing by Eleanor: I think Eleanor inherited some of her Mom’s organizational skills, and this color sorting is proof. She knew the 12 didn’t really work on the orange record, but didn’t have a yellow one.
4) Henry falls asleep in the swing and on Mama: Poor Henry caught a fever and wasn’t feeling well – he fell asleep in the swing, and then for 2+ hours on Mama’s shoulder. Poor Guy.
Other highlights this week include Eleanor helping me making guacamole, lots of stomping in puddles and more puzzle practice for Eleanor.
