Henry and Eleanor celebrated Father’s Day with breakfast out at Whole Foods. We followed that up with some fun park time and some playtime at home.
Henry continues to make new sounds and add more “first syllable” words to his vocabulary. He has sounds for puppet, water and button, and banana is starting to separate itself from the generic “apple” that he uses for most fruits. He successfully pointed out Mimi on the fridge magnets – typically he only gets Papa and Grandpa. His favorite activity is whatever Eleanor is doing, even if that means sitting on the potty. For firsts, he ate his first full meal at the table with Eleanor instead of in his high chair, but I think he isn’t quite ready to do that with every meal.
Eleanor had a great week at preschool, and is starting to tell us a few more stories about what she does there. She was particularly happy Friday when Mom and Henry came to pick her up, and did a little dance at the front door.
