Eleanor and Henry had some fall fun this week as the leaves starting falling here. They both enjoyed putting up some “spider webs” in the front window to add to the Halloween decorations. With the leaves starting to fall off the trees, Henry especially enjoyed a walk over to Starbucks that included lots of leaf stomping, and even some leaf throwing. Henry had a fun trip to Lululemon with Mom, where he insisted on carrying the shopping bag. He repeated this at the grocery store later in the week, drawing lots of laughs as he dragged a basked along the ground. Henry has also been working hard on his counting this week – he is pretty good up to four.
Eleanor had a great class at swimming this week, and told Mom that she wanted to start going to swimming class twice a week. She and coach are starting to bond and she even gave him a few smiles this week. At school, her teachers tell us that her favorite thing to do is art class, and that she is always the first over to the art project and the last one to leave. She got very into a book that was at Starbucks called “Hello Fire Truck”, and we made a special trip back on Sunday so that she could read it again
Lala came over for a fun birthday cupcake, which Henry and Eleanor both helped her eat :) She even got an unsolicited “Happy Birthday” from Eleanor.
