Eleanor and Henry had a fun week hitting the parks with some nice weather, and having fun with all the falling leaves. On Sunday they spent most of the day with a sitter while Mom and Dad went to the Lions Bears game. It was their longest time with a sitter that I can remember, and they did great. They were having so much fun when we left that they didn’t even want to give Mom and Dad goodbye hugs or watch us head out through the windows. When we came back they were happy as could be. On Saturday, we went to a play “Llama llama” which is based on the book series by the same name. Both kiddos sat perfectly still and stared at the actors during the whole play. Neither one showed any emotion – just stone faces – but I’m pretty sure they enjoyed it.
Henry continues to work on his language – putting two and three words together. He also added a second syllable to Eleanor, he now says “El-nor”. He loves to push the shovel around the driveway – hopefully we can harness that into some snow shoveling this winter!
Recently Eleanor has enjoyed calling people on the phone – the first time she called me at work I didn’t even recognize her little voice. She usually has a few good questions to ask, and then she will “let you go so you can get back to work”.
