Potty Time

The biggest activities this week revolved around the potty. Eleanor is now sleeping in underwear, so she is completely free from diapers. We started last Sunday night, and had a perfect streak up until Friday night. Saturday night came with trouble as well, so hopefully tonight we will get back on track. Henry started his potty training on Saturday, and so far so good. We have only had one accident, and lots of successful potty trips.

There has been lots of trampoline fun this week – we did some rearranging last weekend which made a larger space and the trampoline has been the largest beneficiary. Other fun trends include Henry ejecting everything from his crib at every nap time, and a new game that Eleanor and Henry play as he gets ready for nap and bed. While Mom or Dad sing a song, Henry runs over and locks his door, and then Eleanor runs over and unlocks it. Repeat ten times and add giggles and you get Henry’s new bedtime routine :) Henry’s language continues to explode, he puts together lots of sentences now, and is constantly surprising me with new words. He will try to say just about anything that he hears. He is also showing a lot more interest in books lately – with “Go Dog Go” and “Green Eggs and Ham” quickly becoming favorites.
