Michigan!

Eleanor and Henry took a trip this weekend to visit their cousins in Michigan. Both kids did great on the airplane – Eleanor said her favorite parts were takeoff and eating strawberries out of a cup. She gets a big smile on her face as the engines start to rev up and as we start to take of she says “Up up up!”. Henry is a little more straight faced about takeoff, and likes to hold someone’s hand when the engines get loud. However, the minute we get off the plane he starts asking to get back on :) We spent the night with our cousins, and Eleanor had a blast sleeping in Mackenzie’s room. She fell out of bed a few times, but didn’t seem concerned about it at all. She stayed asleep at least once, and another time she just got back in. Henry didn’t love his accommodations on the air mattress – he spent most of the night in bed with Mom and Dad.

Other highlights this week included Henry’s first trip to the Science and Industry museum, some fun playtime in the snow, and the purchase of a new Swiffer which quickly became a favorite toy.
