Spring, Were Are You?

Eleanor and Henry have both begun to wonder what happened to walking to the park. It seems like forever ago that we had a nice warm day to head out. We have been having lots of fun with indoor activities, and this weekend we decided to start a family dinner Sunday tradition (move over taco Sunday!). We had the kids join in making dinner on Sunday night, complete with veggi chips and garlic bread. They were excited to get involved but we will see how long that lasts… Other fun activites this week were putting up some St Patrick’s Day themed gel jams (Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!) and lots of fun outfit designs from Eleanor. Eleanor has also been very into bags this week, and Monkey and lots of other friends have spent most of the week moving from bag to larger bag and the number of “favorite” items selected to be in the bag grows and grows. By Sunday night, the were occupying all of the Gray and Hobbes’ tent. Henry’s favorite thing to do this week is narrate life as it goes by. He loves to use his words to describe anything and everything that is going on – although a bit embarrassing when at Whole Foods for lunch he said “That woman make mamma’s taco” to the long haired man making tacos.:)
