Grandma and Grandpa

Eleanor and Henry enjoyed a visit from Grandma and Grandpa this weekend. Both kids really wanted to take Grandma and Grandpa to the planetarium, so that was first on our list on Saturday. Uncle B joined us and we had fun launching rockets, watching the Sesame Street movie, and exploring the rest of the great exhibits. After that, we headed to Smash Burger for a yummy lunch including milkshakes. Uncle B and Henry did a little “Lady and the Tramp” recreation with sweet potato fries instead of spaghetti. We spent the rest of the day relaxing and playing at home. The previous day we took Grandma and Grandpa to “Orange Swing Park” with the “Travelling Friend” from Eleanor’s school. This weekend was her turn to take the friend, and then on Tuesday she will get to take in pictures of the weekend and tell her class about all the fun activities that “Knuffle Bunny” joined in on. We got a fun surprise from Uncle B on Saturday, some new eating utensils in the form of construction vehicles. Henry really liked eating his taco and apple with the bulldozer pusher and excavator fork.

Earlier in the week Henry took a trip to the Museum of Science and Industry, and Eleanor and Henry had some fun park time watching the nearby construction project. This week Dad got to go to Henry’s gymnastics class (which he calls “me-tastics”).
