This week Eleanor and Henry had a visit from Grandma and Mackenzie! Both kids were super excited about the visit, and enjoyed lots of together time with Grandma and Mackenzie. On Saturday, we had lots of playtime at home capped off by a yummy dinner at Via Carducci. Then on Sunday, Grandma, Eleanor, Mackenzie and Mom went to the American Girl store for brunch with their dolls/monkeys, and Dad and Henry had a fun morning riding trains and eating lunch downtown. After a bit more shopping (can’t miss the Lego store!) we headed home for some more playtime and pizza.
Earlier in the week, Eleanor and Henry had a fun playdate with one of Eleanor’s classmates and his brother. It was fun to have friends over! Eleanor also had a birthday party this week for one of her classmates, at Pump It Up, of course. In school, Eleanor made an ocean diorama and a rainbow fish for their ocean unit. Henry has been doing a lot of letters at school recently, and I think he may become a lefty as well – he seems to write almost exclusively with his left now.
