Eleanor and Henry did their second annual Chicago Hunger Walk this week – and while we didn’t make the it the entire way, both kids did a good chunk of the walk, as we didn’t even take a stroller. As a super fun surprise, Grandma and Cousin Kristen came into town to join, which was fantastic! After the walk, we had a relaxing day at home and yummy Chinese delivery for dinner. Sunday brought a fun Father’s Day breakfast, and then a birthday party for one of Eleanor’s school friends.
All week Eleanor and Henry went to “Frozen” camp at a local children’s theater – they did some set design (aka painting), sang several of the songs from the movie and learned some lines and dance moves. Grandma made it into town in time to see the “final performance” on Friday afternoon. Mom took some great video so I’ll post that soon!
Oh yeah, and the Hawks won the Stanly Cup. Go Hawks!
