We finally had a break in our travel schedule to celebrate Mom’s birthday. Mom was a good sport about foregoing a birthday treat – as we had just returned from a birthday party for one of Eleanor’s friends at Pump It Up, and Eleanor and Henry had already had enough cake.
This week, Henry got back to normal at preschool, and Eleanor had “Builder’s Paradise” camp at Kids Science Lab. She was really excited about everything they did, including building a model house complete with light and light switch, a working drawbridge, a Sears Tower model showing the foundation all the way to the bedrock (According to Eleanor, the only layer of Earth she was missing was “the lava below the bedrock”).
