Fall Cookin’

Eleanor and Henry had a fun week enjoying the cooler fall weather and making some yummy pumpkin muffins. You might guess that Eleanor or Henry was responsible for the particularly choco-LOT-y muffin, but turns out it was actually Mama! Lala brought over a fun tool that made long apple twirls – yummy! On Sunday we cooked up pancakes for breakfast, and then Eleanor had a birthday party where she made and cooked her own lunch and cake!

Eleanor and Henry are both getting a bit more daring at the park. On Saturday, they figured out a way to ride down the slide together, and must have done it 20 times in a row. On Sunday, Henry was experimenting with a climbing wall, and figured out how to slide down one side. Eleanor immediately got interested and tried it out herself.

Eleanor had a play date with a friend from school on Friday that went really well – although she really wanted to just have “alone time” with her friend and didn’t want Henry to join in.

On a tooth related note – Eleanor’s back molar is starting to come in!
