Last week Eleanor and Henry took a fun trip to attend Cousin Adam and Begonia’s wedding in sunny Mexico! We had a blast seeing so many family members there, especially getting to meet baby Simone for the first time! Eleanor and Henry really liked swimming in the pool, and Henry also enjoyed playing on the beach – although Eleanor wasn’t as excited about that. Unfortunately, Eleanor got a little sick for two days, which resulted in a lot of in the room time for her. Poor thing got sick right on her lunch plate, and then again at the dinner table. Of course, that was the one dinner that Dad was alone with the kids as Mom went to the bachelorette party. We had also chosen to leave the hotel and go to a pizza restaurant in town – but they were very nice and quickly boxed up our pizza to take back. The wedding was great fun – the kids sat at an all kids table complete with crafts – and then broke out the glow sticks for a super rave on the dance floor. Henry was especially excited about the crazy dancing, while Eleanor was very interested in helping baby Simone move her arms to the beat.
Both kids were great travelers, all they needed was a few episodes of Paw Patrol and they were good to go :)
