Eleanor and Henry were very excited for Halloween this week! We had a bonus as Grandma and Grandpa drove in so they could join in the fun! Eleanor dressed as Elsa, although she didn’t want to wear the wig that completed her costume. Henry was a zookeeper, and emphasized that he was going to take care of a giraffe and a zebra. On Friday Eleanor wore her costume to school and they had a parade around the block. Then, on Saturday we trick-or-treated in our friend Charlie and Tyler’s neighborhood again. The forecast was for rain and cold, but we got a break as the rain stopped just in time. This was the first year that Eleanor and Henry were both really into trick-or-treating, and we ended up hitting the whole block.
On Sunday we had breakfast with Grandma and Grandpa, and then hit a few parks, including one that we hadn’t been to before. Turns out it has an updated version of a merry-go-round, and the kids couldn’t get enough of it!
