A Quiet Week

Eleanor and Henry had a quiet week as cold temps kept us mostly inside. During the week, Henry was a little sad one morning at drop off, so Mom stayed for a few minutes while he made a picture for her. When he was finished, Mom asked him to write his name on it, which usually results in a full page H and then some other scribbles. But this time Henry wrote his name below the picture without overlapping, and put together the best R that I’ve seen him make. Now, true, it looks a lot more like a rocket ship than an R, but in the context of the other letters you can totally read his name! Nice work, Henry!

On the weekend Dad got some good one on one time with each of the kids – with Eleanor on Saturday while Henry was at a birthday party, and on Sunday with Henry while Eleanor had a friend over to our house for a play date. Mom and Lala also finished off the second of two puzzles that Dad bought last Christmas and then realized they were 1000 piece adult puzzles. Who would have guessed, with one being Winnie the Pooh and the other Wizard of Oz?

Well, not too many pictures this week – we may be getting close to the end of weekly batches, might have to move to twice a month or so.
