This week was our households first week in almost 6 years with no diapers! Henry started sleeping without a diaper on Monday and hasn’t had an accident yet. Go Henry! Mom and Dad are super excited to be done with diapers – and celebrated taking off the changing pad attachment to Henry’s dresser. Beyond that, we had a busy week with two playdates during the week and birthday parties to attend on Saturday and Sunday. The weather was particularly nice this weekend, so we took advantage and planted some flowers on our porch. Eleanor and Mom also got dressed up and went for a run together. Eleanor was very excited about this little outing, and it didn’t last long but she enjoyed it.
Eleanor also had her first swimming class at the next level – where they have a double wide land and pretty much swim constantly back and forth for the whole lesson. She nailed the “dolphin kick” on her first try, and also started to learn some underwater strokes. In another first for Eleanor, on Monday she woke up before Mom and Dad, got dressed, and went down stairs and started making breakfast. Mom went downstairs and found her standing on the counter getting down the jar of oats. Ha!
