Eleanor and Henry had a science filled weekend after a busy week. We were the Family of the Week a week or so ago in Henry’s class, and we decided to take in oobleck to make. This left us with a lifetime supply of corn starch, and since Eleanor didn’t get to make any in school, we decided to whip up a big batch. This got us into the science mood, and we pulled out our new science lab with five containers all connected by tubes and valves, and the kids had a blast making colored water move from one to the next. It was such a hit that we ran out of experiments to do – I’ll have to work up some new ones! We also did lots of puzzling this week – both Mom and the kids! Can’t wait for Henry’s Valentines Day concert next week – he has been “practicing” the songs at home and I think it is going to be great!
