Eleanor and Henry celebrated Earth Day with a busy schedule, including two birthday parties, and starting with a beach cleanup service project. While not initially thrilled with the idea, Eleanor and Henry warmed to the task and helped to clean up a lot of trash – although we had to ask them to stop picking up the broken glasss! On Friday night, they had a slumber party in their sleeping bags – which was a lot of fun although a little light on the slumber part of the party. Sunday was a beautiful day, and we spent most of the afternoon outside enjoying the spring weather. Henry managed to find time to paint his model volcano, which we started the day before.
