This week we celebrated Eleanor’s birthday! Grandma and Grandpa came into town, and Eleanor had a complete plan for the entire day. She started with a morning jog with Mom, followed by pancake breakfast. Next was a shower, getting dressed into her outfit that matches her bear “Pretty”, and then her string trail. After that was playtime – with a lunch scheduled at Francis’ Deli. However, since we had a big dinner planned, she agreed to postpone Francis’ for another day. Lala and Uncle B and Aunt Breanne came over as well to join in the celebration. Eleanor’s friend Lincoln and her family joined us for mac and cheese, pizza and cake to finish off a wonderful day!
Earlier in the week, Eleanor had her “Adventure Camp” where she worked on “using her brave” and talking in lots of different situations. It was a challenge, but she did great. Henry had a sports camp, but it turned out to be a bit of a disappointment – one day he reported playing basketball but never getting to touch the ball. He was a trooper though, and made the best of it and had some fun and made some friends along the way.
