Eleanor and Henry headed south to Saint Louis this weekend for the solar eclipse. On Saturday, we visited the arch, missed our sightseeing boat on the Mississippi, and checked out the zoo. On Sunday, we spent most of the day at the City Museum – a very fun place built to let kids explore. On Monday, the weather cooperated and we had a great view of the eclipse. Henry was especially interested in watching the eclipse develop, and then as we got very close to “totality”, Eleanor also got into it. We got a “wow” from the kids, and Mom and Dad were pretty impressed as well. Time to start planning for 2024!
