Eleanor and Henry celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with our traditional trip to see the river dyeing. After a nice brunch, Eleanor headed up to a birthday party, and Henry and Dad checked out the parade for the first time. Henry enjoyed it for a while, but was ready to leave about half way through. On Sunday, we enjoyed some warmer weather with some bike riding, scootering and basketball in the driveway. Oh yeah, and we had green pancakes.
Earlier in the week, we had family haircut day, and Eleanor was excited for her first hair washing with her cut. She did great and really enjoyed it. On Friday, Eleanor’s class put on an assembly for the whole school, and Eleanor had one speaking line. She was pretty nervous about doing it, but she was able to speak her line, albeit quietly, with the help of her friend Lincoln. It was a very sweet moment.
