Spring has Sprung

Eleanor and Henry finally got to enjoy some nice spring weather this week, and we took advantage with some outdoor time in the driveway and at the park. Both kids had playdates this weekend, Henry on Friday with his friend Thomas, and Eleanor on Saturday with three friends (a quadruple playdate, as Eleanor called it)! Henry had the first basketball game of the season as well, and he had a good time. We also rediscovered paper airplanes this week – I think we made about 50 over the weekend! In school, Eleanor wrote her first poem, and read it out loud for a class video. Henry has really been working on his reading, and the hard work is really starting to pay off. Speaking of reading, Eleanor is a fan of mysteries, and is hooked on a series called “A to Z mysteries”, where there is a book for each letter of the alphabet. She probably has half of the alphabet completed.
