Eleanor and Henry had a fun week filled with lots of celebrations. We started the week with a birthday party for Monkey, who turned 8. Eleanor set up a string trail for Monkey, complete with gifts from herself, Henry, Mom, Dad and Lala. We also had fun treats, doughnuts for Eleanor and Henry, and mini key lime pies for the grownups. We also had a surprise dentist visit this week, we had to reschedule an appointment and as a result ended up with a fun mid-week lunch out with the kids.
On Saturday, we had a Cinco de Mayo and Kentucky Derby party – Eleanor served as waitress for our Mexican restaurant night, and we even had a pinata. We also managed to plant some flowers and Eleanor attended a birthday party where they got to sing their own songs at a recording studio. Eleanor had been preparing a song from Moana, but was a little too nervous to do it once everyone was watching. Finally, on Sunday, Eleanor had another birthday party and Henry had a basketball game.
