It has been a busy two weeks since school started, and both Eleanor and Henry have settled into school nicely. Both have had two more soccer games – Henry is really getting a handle for the game and likes to play defense. He has learned to stay a bit out of the pack, and stop anyone who breaks free and heads towards his net. Eleanor is taking to the game as well, and volunteered to be the goalie for one half. She says that she is still “a little afraid of the ball” but is getting more comfortable each week.
Mom and Dad jetted off for a quick trip, and Lala and Uncle B and Aunt Breanne tag teamed to take care of the kiddos while we are gone. Big thanks to the Aunts and Uncle for all their help – the kids really had a great time and got to and from school on time every day! This weekend Henry had a fun birthday party at a cool climbing gym, and Eleanor had a trip to the zoo. We finished up on Sunday with some football, rollerskating and stomp rockets.
