Happy Mother’s Day!

It has been a play-date packed couple of weeks for Eleanor and Henry – we started off with a Monday play-date for Eleanor and a few of her friends, which was great. Then, on Saturday Eleanor had a sleepover birthday party with a bunch of her school friends – her first sleepover party! She had a great time, but as expected didn’t get much sleep, and for the next seven days she complained about being tired. We also celebrated Mother’s Day on Saturday, because Dad was confused and thought it was Sunday. While Eleanor was at her party, Henry had a sleepover with Lala. Based on the pictures they mostly did Snapchat and ate snacks :) The next weekend was a swap, Henry had his first sleepover with his friend Julia, and Eleanor got to do a sleepover with Lala. It also appears that snacking was popular, but with less Snapchat.

At school the kids were excited to show off some of their creations at the annual art fair, and we also had an evening at school where each kiddo got to show us a project they have been working on. Henry showed us his poetry book and read us his poems. Eleanor showed us her “fractured fairy tale” book that she wrote and illustrated.

Oh, and somewhere in there Eleanor lost another tooth – one more is really loose and should be falling out soon.
