Go Cubs Go!

This week we hit Petco Park to root on the Cubbies against the local Padres. Herny and Eleanor were both pretty excited for the game, plus it was a night game on a school night! What a treat. We had lots of snacks, but had to leave pretty early as it was getting late. Unfortunately, the Cubs lost but it was still a fun night. Aunt Jane was also in town visiting so we had a chance to hang out with her a bunch – she visited school, came to Henry’s soccer game on Saturday, and also went to the beach with us on Sunday. Henry really enjoyed his soccer game, it was his first with this team because we missed last week, and he was really excited to get a chance to play goalie! He also had a football game which was fun as well – he was quarterback for a scoring drive and threw a complete pass to make the extra point! While Henry was paying football, Eleanor was off getting a violin – she will be starting in her school orchestra this year and chose the violin as her instrument of choice. Can’t wait for the report back after the first class next week!
