Happy Halloween!

Henry and Eleanor celebrated Halloween this week dressed up as a Cubs player and a witch. It was our first trick or treating event in our new city, and while we missed our old stomping ground, we found a great street where the kiddos could gather up way too much candy in a short amount of time. It was also another reminder of how small a town this area can be as we ran in to several of our friends and classmates while trick or treating.

Also this week, Eleanor completed a piece of pottery for her school project on Native American artifacts – Dad and Eleanor both learned about the coil method used to build up a large pot out of clay. There were a few fall festivals this week as well, one at school where the kids had a blast, and one down in the village where Eleanor got to do a pony ride.
