Welcome B and B!

This week Eleanor and Henry welcomed Uncle B and Aunt B into town for a visit. We wasted no time in getting Uncle B to our favorite Mexican restaurant, and the fun continued from there. On Saturday, Henry had his last soccer games – it was a round robin tournament where the top two teams after three mini-games would play for the championship. As Henry’s team had yet to secure a victory all season, we had tempered expectations, but they ended up winning all three mini-games and got into the final game. Henry played goal for the final game, and it ended in a tie so they went to penalty kicks! Henry was excited to try it, but his team ended up losing 5-3 in the penalties. The team was a little bummed, but we reminded them how well they played and what an improvement after a win-less season! Mom and Eleanor explored a new bike path and the local tide pools with Aunt B – Eleanor was a trooper biking probably three miles! On Sunday we hit Belmont Park for some putt putt and other excitement. Henry showed great improvement owing to his weekly golfing lesson – we could really tell the difference in his putting stroke. Now we just need to get him to a driving range!
