We started off this week with a field trip with Eleanor’s class to the mission at San Juan Capistrano. Her class is doing a project on all the missions, so this fit right in. Both Mom and Dad got to go along, and really enjoyed the trip. The kids even got to make their own “adobe brick” out of mud at the end. Unfortunately, Henry’s baseball game on Wednesday was rained out, and it turned out the be the last game for a while, as the season was postponed. School was also put on pause for at least two weeks – so that will be interesting. Looks like we are headed for lots of together time in the next few weeks! We pulled out some puzzles and board games for the weekend, and Henry improvised a wall ball court in the driveway. We have been alternating family walks and family bike rides to get some fresh air.
