Eleanor and Henry were particularly into cooking this week, with Eleanor making afternoon “picnic” snacks at home several days this week, and then both Eleanor and Henry making dinner one night. They came up with a whole menu of options, and did all the cooking and serving. Mom had a salad, and Dad had a burrito with accidental extra sauce, along with gold grams (graham crackers with peanut butter and goldfish). Also on the food trend, we tried our hand at baking enchiladas, which worked out pretty well, Eleanor especially liked them. Getting outside a bit, we had a fun bike ride around Mission Bay, doing about a quarter of the bay for around 5 miles of biking. Henry’s bike had a flat tire as we loaded up for the trip, but luckily the store was able to fix it while Mom and the kids picked up a picnic lunch.
