Eleanor took a trip to the pumpkin patch this week, among other fun fall activities, and also had her first swim lesson with Dad. She also went to a music performance where she mostly ignored the singer, but did mistake an orange crayon for a carrot. Fortunately, Mom noticed before too much wax was ingested. Eleanor is learning some hand signals to the song “No more monkeys jumping on the bed”, which is very cute. We will have to try and get it on video. She is also working on stepping up on small steps, she especially likes the cat’s scratch pad and small drops between slabs on sidewalks, as well as transitioning from sidewalk to grass. She is very proud of herself when she successfully navigates one by herself. Her last new trick of the week is grabbing her belly button when asked :)
