Happy Mother’s Day! It was a fun packed week, as the photo count will attest – this week’s selections were culled from 1200 pictures – all taken this week. Time to turn off the rapid fire feature of our camera. At any rate, I finally managed to capture Henry’s teeth – the two bottom front are coming in nicely. Henry is really taking to his jumparoo, it seems like just yesterday we put him in there for the first time, and now he jumps and bounces every time he gets the chance. Eleanor also enjoys giving him a little sisterly help, both with bouncing and reaching the toys. I’m pretty sure he is going to roll over any day now too – he has been really close a few times. Henry also had a barrette in his hair for the first time this week, I’m sure that won’t be the last “dress up” session that Eleanor ropes him into.
Eleanor got lots of park time this week – plus on Saturday she participated in her first “Fun Run” – a 3 mile stroller ride compliments of Mom and LaLa. She and Henry donned their Under Armor outfits for the occasion (thanks Grandma!) . We celebrated Mother’s Day with a fun day out at the park, and a visit to Dairy Queen – our first of the summer. Eleanor really enjoyed the extended park session, especially playing in the grass. I’m pretty sure she is looking forward to summertime.
