Henry finally rolled over this week – although only once, and he has yet to repeat the feat. Mom happened to be taking picture at the time, so she caught him in a before and after pose. Unfortunately, she wasn’t shooting video so we didn’t catch the actual motion. Hopefully Henry will give us some more opportunities soon. Henry has been sitting in the booster seat that we got for Eleanor, and he actually fits quite well in it and likes to eat there. He tried a few new foods this week, like mangos and oatmeal. He added a few more firsts on the weekend by riding in the stroller without his car seat, and swinging in a swing for the first time.
Eleanor used the skateboard attachment for the stroller for the first time this weekend, and she definitely liked it. It was a bit hard to push the stroller and hold on to her at the same time, but I think once we get her a helmet she will be OK holding on by herself. She also had her first playground altercation where she was the instigator (those must be genes from her Mother, I never did that :) ) when she tried to push a much older little girl out of “her” spot in the play train. Eleanor has enjoyed Henry starting to eat, she likes to watch him and pick out what he will eat, and sometimes even wants to feed him. Mom caught a great picture of them holding hands while both sitting in their respective eating chairs. Eleanor also had a food first this week, getting her own bowl of cereal with milk.
